Role Title: Participant Engagement Network Development Intern 2

The Participant Engagement Network Development Intern will support Enable WA in designing a sustainable and inclusive participant engagement network that strengthens the voice of people accessing our services in organisational decision-making, service design, quality improvement, and strategic planning.
Working within the Quality, Safeguards and Continuous Improvement function, the intern will research best-practice engagement models, consult with participants, families, carers, advocates and staff, and help design a flexible framework that connects people with opportunities to contribute based on their lived experience, interests and preferences. The project aims to ensure the right people are engaged at the right time on the topics most relevant to them.
The intern will interact primarily with Enable WA participants, family members, support networks, frontline staff, managers, and organisational leaders. Through interviews, surveys, workshops and co-design activities, they will gather insights to inform the development of a participant engagement network, associated governance processes, communication tools and implementation resources.
By the end of the internship, the student will deliver practical recommendations and resources that will help Enable WA establish a participant-led engagement model that promotes inclusion, choice, accessibility and continuous improvement across the organisation.
This role will be based in the Perth office and will be supervised remotely
