Role Description

The Vendor Compliance and Contract Governance Intern will support the organisation's Finance and Compliance functions by undertaking a comprehensive review of all brokered and outsourced vendor arrangements. The intern will assess existing vendor contracts and supporting compliance documentation to ensure records are complete, current, and centrally maintained.
The project will involve reviewing vendor files, identifying missing or expired documentation, validating contract details, and developing a centralised compliance register to improve visibility and governance. The intern will work closely with Finance, Procurement, Risk and Compliance stakeholders to understand regulatory and organisational requirements and assist in strengthening vendor management processes. This role provides a practical opportunity to develop skills in compliance, governance, contract administration, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and business process improvement. By the conclusion of the internship, the student will deliver a documented compliance review, vendor register, compliance gap analysis, and recommendations for ongoing monitoring and governance improvements.
