Role Title: MRCS Workstation and Laptop Setup Video Intern

Organisation: Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES)

Internship Period: Semester 1 (February - May)

Role Description

This internship supports Marine Rescue Communications Support (MRCS) by creating a clear, standardised video showing how to physically set up an MRCS operator laptop and workstation.
The intern will document the correct physical setup of laptops and accessories, including connections, layout, and positioning, to support consistent and reliable use by MRCS operators. The role focuses on demonstrating how to set things up correctly rather than providing technical troubleshooting or IT support. The completed video will be used as a reusable onboarding and reference asset for MRCS, helping reduce setup errors, improve operator confidence, and lower the need for ad-hoc technical support.
