Role Title: Research Intern: Mental health and social-emotional wellbeing research

Internship Period: Winter (June - July)
Location: Nedlands
Work alongside an experienced research team focused on the health and wellbeing of children and young people. The intern will assist with the following tasks:
Updating academic papers and contributing to real-world grant and research proposals
Building hands-on skills in research design, data management, and data analysis (quantitative and qualitative)
Gaining practical exposure to program logic models and outcome measurement frameworks used in policy and service settings
Learning how research evidence is translated into funding applications, evaluations, and system-level decision making
Collaborating with researchers, project leads, and—where relevant—community and service partners
Developing transferable skills for careers in research, health, policy, and social impact sector.
The Centre for Social Impact UWA (CSI UWA) is a catalyst for change in our world, creating and delivering education that transforms, research that informs best practice, and public engagement that inspires and mobilises change makers.
CSI UWA is part of a national collaboration with UNSW Australia and Swinburne University of Technology. Together, the three universities form the Centre for Social Impact, which takes a systems approach to developing innovative solutions to the biggest social challenges today, with a vision for a better Australia tomorrow.
