Role Title: Data Analytics and Information Management Intern
Organisation: Child and Adolescent Health Service
Internship Period: Semester 2 (July – October)
Location: Subiaco
An intern joining our team will have the opportunity to contribute to a high‑impact project focused on preparing a comprehensive report on the developmental outcomes of high‑risk infants. This work is central to understanding long‑term health and neurodevelopment following preterm birth or complex neonatal surgical conditions. The placement offers rich opportunities to build analytical, interpretive, and system‑level capabilities. The neonatal follow-up programs at King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEMH) and Princess Margaret/ Perth Children’s Hospital (PMH/ PCH) have been operational since early-2000’s and have evolved into a highly specialised area targeting the highest-risk infants in Western Australia.
The Child and Adolescent Health Service is part of the Department and has a vision, values and strategic objectives for 2018 - 2023 to achieve healthy kids and healthy communities for Western Australia.
