Triage Intern (including pilot evaluation)

Role Title: Triage Intern (including pilot evaluation)

Organisation: Law Access

Internship Period: Winter (June - July)

Location: Nedlands

Role Description

Law Access accepts applications for legal assistance from vulnerable West Australians and seeks to place some of those applicants with private legal practitioners. We are implementing a new triage process to ensure that applicants are firstly directed to the most appropriate service provider in the legal assistance sector and otherwise assessed for eligibility for our service in a trauma-informed way. We need a triage Intern to team with an existing casual employee to implement the proposed triage system and provide an evaluation and feedback for any recommended changes to the system as well as input into the training materials needed to properly induct future volunteers into the role.
