Role Title: DSS Project Intern
Organisation: City of Bayswater
Internship Period: Semester 2 (July – October)
Location: Morley
There is a gap between the People & Culture and Digital Solutions and Services (DSS) onboarding/offboarding processes which is causing operational issues. Scope and discovery discussions are underway to identify root causes and implement a streamlined solution that improves process alignment and reduces service disruption. We have identified the need for a dedicated queue to manage People Movement requests, including onboarding, offboarding, transfers, and acting position changes, to improve visibility and processing efficiency.
The intern will contribute to defining the project scope, objectives, success measures, and key deliverables to support the development of a streamlined People Movement process.
They will document anticipated business benefits, including improved process efficiency, enhanced access governance, reduced manual effort, and a more consistent employee experience across onboarding and offboarding activities.
During the project they will continue consultation with People & Culture and Digital Services stakeholders to validate requirements and inform solution design.
