Role Title: Project Intern

Internship Period: Semester 2 (July – October)
Location: Osborne Park
To champion disability inclusion across local sporting clubs by evaluating practices, mentoring stakeholders, supporting inclusive and cultural change. This role combines community outreach, project administration and strategic communication to ensure clubs are welcoming and accessible to people of disabilities.
They will largely be working on the Welcoming Inclusive Network (WIN) project or the Included through Sport project. The WIN project assesses community sports clubs on how well they are doing on disability inclusion and guides them on how to improve. The Included through Sport project works with community sports clubs to create better environments and pathways for people with autism or an intellectual disability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building strong relationships with club leaders and volunteers
- Assist in writing clear, data-informed feedback and progress reports for clubs following on from their disability inclusion evaluation
- Support project coordination, scheduling and documentation
We would love someone who has:
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in community sport or disability advocacy
- Empathy and a commitment to equity and access for all people
