Role Title: Project Intern - Hoon Package - Hoon Behaviour

The Hooning Package targets hoon and other high risk driving behaviour with the objective of reducing their impact through a sustained, intelligence driven and technology supported enforcement plan. The primary focus of the Hooning Package is hoon behaviour, including dangerous driving, reckless speed, burnouts and excessive noise, however, there are secondary benefits delivered by this proposal which will capture other high risk driving behaviour, such as recidivist offenders of unlawful or anti-social driving behaviour, known as high harm road offenders.”

• Alignment with the Driving Change Road Safety Strategy for Western Australia 2020-2030 target of reducing the number of people killed, severely or seriously injured by 50-70% by 2030 and the ‘Safe Road Users’ and ‘Safe Speeds’ priorities.
