Digital Content Intern 2

Role Title: Digital Content Intern 2

Organisation: South Metropolitan Health Service

Internship Period: Semester 2 (July – October)

Location: Either Murdoch or Myaree

Role Description

The SMHS Digital Health team was established 18 months ago and is responsible for Information Technology (IT) and Information Management (IM) within the organisation to ensure we can safely deliver high-quality care to patients. We are a mixture of technology experts, developers, innovators, and clinicians.
We have just finished writing a Digital Health Strategy for 2025 - 2030, and a key program coming out of the strategy is the education and upskilling of SMHS staff in all areas of digital health. Creating digital literacy amongst staff will be a foundational factor in the digital transformation programs that will happen in the WA Health system over the next five years. We are looking for an intern who can work together on developing digital education and training materials that can include communications plans, story boards, scripting, and production of infographics, short 'reel' videos, podcasts, and memes to upskill and excite staff about digital health. Education can cover artificial intelligence, internet of things, the cloud, data and analytics, information security, governance and much more, depending on the priorities of the SMHS executives.
