Promotional Video Creation Intern

Role Title: Promotional Video Creation Intern

Organisation: WA Wildlife

Internship Period: Summer (November - December)

Location: Bibra Lake

Role Description

The intern will join WA Wildlife’s education and communications team to support the creation of high-quality video content that highlights our work. Their primary focus will be developing two key video projects:
Educational Tours Promotion Video – capturing the unique behind-the-scenes experiences of our guided tours, including interactions with native animals and the WA Wildlife Hospital. This video will be used to encourage schools, families and community groups to book tours. End-of-Year Donation Drive Video – producing a compelling storytelling piece that showcases the impact of donations on wildlife rescue, treatment and rehabilitation, with the aim of inspiring community support during our critical annual fundraising campaign. The intern will work closely with our Education Manager and wildlife hospital staff and volunteers to gather footage, interview participants and craft engaging narratives. They will also collaborate with our CEO and fundraising team to align messaging with organisational priorities. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for content creation, digital storytelling and wildlife conservation, who wants to apply their creative skills to real-world projects that directly support animal welfare and community education.
