Role Title: Human Resources Project Support Intern

The Human Resources Intern will undertake a defined research project to support the development of a proposed workplace Peer Support Officer (PSO) network.
Working under the guidance of the Manager HR and the HR Business Partner the intern will research and analyse comparable peer support and workplace support programs across government and relevant community organisations. The project will identify contemporary approaches, common practices, potential risks and considerations, training options and other information to inform the development and implementation of an appropriate PSO framework.
The internship provides an opportunity to apply research, analytical and written communication skills to a practical workplace project and gain exposure to human resources policy and employee relations within a public sector environment.
