Role Title: International Trade and Business Development Intern

Role Description

This internship reports to the Manager Business Development, Trade Promotion.
This internship provides an opportunity to support international trade and market analysis through a combination of data management, research, and stakeholder engagement activities. The intern will assist with validating and maintaining the accuracy of trade and client datasets, conducting data cleansing and quality assurance processes, and using Microsoft Excel to analyse and manage information. They will undertake market research and trade analysis to identify trends, assess sector performance, and evaluate export activity across key markets. The role will also involve compiling and interpreting quantitative and qualitative data, summarising findings, and contributing to reports, presentations, and briefings for stakeholders. In addition, the intern may liaise with internal and external stakeholders to source and verify information, support evidence-based decision-making, and assist with professional business communications in a global trade environment.
