Role Title: Grants and Fundraising Intern

The Cruising Yacht Club of WA is seeking a motivated intern to support the Club's grants and fundraising activities. The intern will assist in identifying funding opportunities, researching suitable grants and sponsorship prospects, and developing resources to support the Club's initiatives, programs and community engagement activities.
Key Responsibilities
Research and identify relevant government grants, community funding programs, philanthropic opportunities and corporate sponsorship prospects.
Develop and maintain a register of grant opportunities, eligibility criteria, application deadlines and funding requirements.
Assist with preparing grant applications, funding proposals and supporting documentation.
Research potential fundraising initiatives and sponsorship opportunities aligned with the Club's objectives.
Assist in developing fundraising materials, sponsorship proposals and communications for potential supporters.
Prepare recommendations for future grant applications and fundraising activities.
To promote and develop all aspects of yachting and aquatic pursuits in a friendly, social and responsible environment.
