Development and Alumni Relations (DAR) at The University of Western Australia serves as a vital connector between the passions and aspirations of our donors, alumni, and community, and the mission and vision of the University. We are a dynamic and collaborative team of over 40 staff, committed to building strong relationships and delivering impact through engagement and philanthropy.
With a busy annual schedule of alumni and donor events, ranging from informal networking receptions to high-level dinners, the DAR Events Team is looking to reinforce our event capability with an enthusiastic and detail-oriented new role.
Under the supervision of the Senior Events Engagement Officer, the Event Support Intern provides administrative and operational support to the Events team in the planning, coordination, delivery and evaluation of events. The role offers practical experience across all stages of the event lifecycle, assisting with logistics, stakeholder coordination, communications and event reporting to help ensure successful event outcomes.
