Role Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented intern to support the review and development of the Shire’s Public Health Plan. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a key strategic document that shapes community health and wellbeing outcomes in a regional setting, while gaining exposure to local government planning processes and working closely with the CEO’s Office.
The intern will assist in coordinating and delivering the review of the Shire’s Public Health Plan in line with legislative requirements and best practice. The role will involve research, stakeholder engagement support, and analysis to inform a contemporary and evidence-based plan.
