Role Title: Project Intern: Rostering Project
Organisation: North Metropolitan Health Service
Internship Period: Winter (June - July)
Location: Nedlands
This internship will review current rostering practices across the Sir Charles Gairdner Osborne Park Healthcare Group Physiotherapy Department and develop a range of novel rostering options and shift patterns to accommodate various specialties. This work will require
1. Understanding current rostering requirements in terms of what is working well, and identifying gaps or barriers to optimising both operations and staff wellbeing
2. Benchmarking current practice against of other health service providers across the state, the country and internationally
3. Developing a range of options, and establishing the pros and cons of each
4. Presenting these options to staff and developing nuanced iterations of these options
