Role Title: Legal Intern: Criminal Injuries Compensation

The intern provide support to the Criminal Injuries Compensation lawyer, reviewing materials from freedom of information requests, drafting victim impact statements, taking notes during client appointments and so on.
We are a not for profit community legal centre providing legal advice, support and advocacy to WA women experiencing disadvantage. We work to promote a legal system that is safe, supportive, non-discriminatory and responsive to the needs of all women in our community, particularly those who face disadvantage. We believe that just and fair outcomes, as well as access to justice and support when needed, should not be dependent on gender.
