Role Description

North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS) is seeking a motivated student intern from the Public Health or Social Work discipline to support a review of the recently implemented processes within the KEMH Complex Care and Women’s service area.
The internship will focus on gathering feedback and evaluating the effectiveness of the new processes from both patient and staff perspectives. The student will assist with reviewing current practices, collecting and analysing feedback, identifying themes and opportunities for improvement, and contributing to recommendations that support service quality and patient experience outcomes. Key Responsibilities Assist in the review and evaluation of newly implemented service processes. Engage with staff and patients to gather feedback through surveys, interviews, or consultation activities. Support data collection, analysis, and reporting activities. Identify trends, strengths, challenges, and opportunities for service improvement. Assist with preparation of reports and recommendations for stakeholders. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
