Role Title: Library Communications Program Intern

Internship Period: Semester 2 (July – October)

Purpose
To contribute a student voice to the Library communication program to encourage Library users (including UWA students and members of the public) to use spaces and services appropriately and in line with Library rules, as well as instil a sense of belonging in the Library. Utilising user experience techniques and other consultation methods, the program will include the design of clear, engaging, and visually accessible signage and other communications messaging. A secondary objective is the promotion of wellbeing, inclusion, and safety within Library spaces.
Objectives
Promote respectful and appropriate behaviour in the libraries and the broader UWA Community.
Increase awareness of wellbeing, inclusion and safety.
Reinforce university values, conduct and behavioural expectations.
Encourage safe, inclusive, and positive interactions.
Incorporate the student voice authentically in Library communications on these topics.
