Role Title: Stormwater Drainage Information Collection Intern

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated intern to join our Assets and Infrastructure Team for a project that integrates our Stormwater Drainage Infrastructure from various sources of information.
The focus of this opportunity will offer you a chance to gain hands-on experience in analysing and developing our existing stormwater plans and information to verify missing information.
You will also get involved in other projects related to the maintenance and operation of the town’s drainage network.
You'll bring the latest and most effective Engineering practices to the Town, and we'll back you up with a seasoned supervisor and a hands-on project to help you further your career.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Reviewing our current Stormwater Drainage information through review of various plans and databases
2. Identify any information gaps in the drainage network
3. Collaborating with staff members at all levels to gather insights and feedback on existing information.
4. Working with Asset and Infrastructure Manager and others to compile a targeted list of areas for further investigation.
5. Maintaining detailed documentation of the review process, analysis, and framework development
The City of Nedlands is situated just 7km from Perth and stretches from the banks of the beautiful Swan River to the edge of the Indian Ocean. A population of over 21,000 live in the suburbs Nedlands, Dalkeith, Mt Claremont, Swanbourne, Karrakatta, and parts of Floreat and Shenton Park. The City is made up of four wards – Melvista, Hollywood, Dalkeith and Coastal.
