Aqwest Bunbury Water is a reputable water utility in Bunbury (WA), providing drinking water to 18,000 + properties across City of Bunbury.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Intern with our Asset Lifecycle Team. Reporting to the Coordinator Asset Management, the Intern will develop skills across all functions of the team, including Asset Strategy, Asset Planning, Infrastructure Delivery, Water Quality and HSEQ compliance.
The role will be varied, enabling the individual to cover projects from early investigations to define engineering technical solutions, designing & building new assets, as well as, developing maintenance management plans.
We are seeking an Intern from the following engineering disciplines: Chemical, Process, Environmental, Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical or Civil. Ideally, the individual will be in their 3rd year of studies (or above).
Particular tasks earmarked for the internship include;
Geographical Info Systems
Asset Information Management
Maintenance Planning
Asset Condition Planning and Implementation
Design review of water treatment plant upgrades
QA/QC construction of water asset facilities
Commissioning of newly build assets and infrastructure.
