Role Description

The International Space Centre requires a skilled content creator to drive consistent engagement on the social media channels of the ISC - LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook.
Key Responsibilities *Social Media Strategy & Planning* Develop and maintain a social media strategy and content plan aligned with ISC priorities, campaigns, and events. Map out short- and medium-term content calendars across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook, and possibly YouTube. Tailor content formats and tone to suit the strengths and audiences of each platform. Identify opportunities to amplify key moments. *Content Creation & Storytelling* Write clear, engaging copy for posts, captions, and short features across platforms. Conduct informal interviews with researchers, students, partners, and stakeholders to generate content. Capture and produce high-quality photography and short-form video (including reels and stories). Edit and package content for publication, ensuring consistency with ISC and UWA brand guidelines. Channel Management & Engagement Manage day-to-day posting, scheduling, and moderation of social media channels. Monitor comments, messages, and engagement, responding in a timely and professional manner. Track performance metrics and adjust content based on engagement insights. Support live or near-live coverage of events, launches, visits, and announcements where appropriate.
