Role Title: Research Intern

The Research Intern will support Parkerville Children and Youth Care’s Fundraising and Philanthropy team to identify and research prospective donors, philanthropic foundations, trusts, corporate partners and other potential funding opportunities.
The intern will undertake prospect research to identify individuals and organisations whose interests, values and giving priorities align with Parkerville’s work supporting children, young people and families.
Key activities will include researching prospective major donors, trusts, foundations and corporate partners; identifying philanthropic interests and areas of alignment; preparing concise prospect profiles; researching potential connections and networks; and identifying new funding and partnership opportunities.
The intern will work closely with the Fundraising and Philanthropy team and contribute to the development and prioritisation of Parkerville’s prospect pipeline. This placement will provide practical experience in donor research, philanthropy, fundraising strategy and relationship-based fundraising within the not-for-profit sector.
Parkerville Children and Youth Care advocate for and provide specialist care and services to those most vulnerable in the WA community, including children, young people and families who have experienced trauma from abuse.
