Role Description

HelpingMinds is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Policies and Procedures Intern through the McCusker Centre for Citizenship. This role will support the organisation in reviewing, modernising, and consolidating internal policies and procedures as part of a broader organisational rebranding and continuous improvement initiative.
The intern will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to improve the accessibility, consistency, and usability of organisational documentation by transforming existing policies and procedures into a streamlined and user-friendly handbook format. This internship offers an opportunity to gain practical experience in governance, stakeholder engagement, organisational change, policy development, and best-practice research within the not-for-profit sector. Key Responsibilities Policy and Procedure Review Review existing organisational policies, procedures, templates, and supporting documents. Identify duplicated, outdated, or inconsistent content across documentation. Assist with consolidating documents into simplified and accessible formats. Support the development of a centralised policy and procedures handbook. Rebranding and Documentation Alignment Assist with aligning policies and procedures with HelpingMinds’ updated branding and communication style. Contribute to improving readability and user experience for staff accessing organisational documents.
