Role Title: Research Advocacy Intern

THIS IS A PARTIAL WORK FROM HOME ROLE - ONCE EVERY THIRD WEEK
The Research and Advocacy Intern will support Bridge Builders in advancing its advocacy and community impact initiatives through evidence-based research and policy analysis. The student will undertake research on issues affecting vulnerable and disadvantaged community members, identify emerging trends and best practice approaches, and assist in the development of advocacy papers, reports, briefing notes, and stakeholder resources. The intern will also contribute to community engagement activities and help identify opportunities to strengthen partnerships and influence positive social outcomes. This role is well suited to students studying Public Policy, Political Science, Social Work, Community Development, Sociology, Criminology, Law, or related disciplines who are passionate about social justice and community advocacy.
We believe this role would provide valuable real-world experience in community engagement, social impact program development, and non-profit communications, and align with the Centre’s focus on civic participation and community benefit.
