Role Description

The Community Resource Centre (CRC) Program Team at DPIRD is offering an exciting opportunity for one intern to lead the development, production, and promotion of the Regional Education and Development (READ) Project.
This project focuses on creating online educational resources tailored for Western Australia’s regional Community Resource Centres which aims to develop standardised training modules for the DPIRD Portal – a customised online platform used by Community Resource Centres (CRCs) to access updates, guidance, and program information. As part of the experience, the intern will also participate in a two-day regional visit to gain firsthand insight into the work of CRCs and their impact on local communities. By the conclusion of the internship, the intern is expected to have: • Produced at least two complete, high-quality online education module/resources for use by Community Resource Centres Managers, staff and committees. • Delivered a short presentation of their project outcomes and learnings to the CRC Program Team • Developed supporting promotional or communication material for the READ Project • Built positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
