Role Title: Youth Engagement Program - Resource Intern

Role Description

The Youth Engagement Program - Resource Intern will support the Vinnies WA Youth Engagement Team with developing engaging and informative resources to share with primary and high school students. They will offer students the opportunity to develop empathy and a deeper understanding of the needs of our communities through activities and presentations on the topics of:
-Poverty and Emergency Relief -Advocacy -Homelessness Once developed, these resources will be shared with schools and students across the state. You will know that your work will support young people for years to come! This internship also offers the opportunity to meet with and learn from other Vinnies WA services and visit schools alongside the Youth Engagement Coordinator (contingent on WWCC). This role requires a strong working understanding of PowerPoint and Canva, the ability to self-manage time, attention to detail, and an interest in Community Engagement, Education, and/or Storytelling.
