Organisation: Perron Institute

Internship Period: Summer (November - December)

Location: Nedlands, Perth, WA, Australia

Role Description

As an intern, you will support our clinical research team by refining and organising a de-identified database of patients with treatment-resistant depression. Working primarily in Microsoft Excel, you will clean, structure, and cross-check clinical data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability for ongoing research projects. You will collaborate with members of the research team who oversee data collection and analysis, gaining insight into how high-quality data underpins clinical studies. This role will provide hands-on experience in research data management, offering exposure to real-world clinical information (with all patient details removed) and the opportunity to contribute to projects aimed at improving understanding and treatment of depression.
