Role Title: Community Engagement Intern

Location: Salvation Army office, Subiaco, WA
We are seeking a passionate and driven intern to join our team and support our Additional Referral Pathway Program (Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking stream). The intern will play a key role in community engagement, supporting the team in awareness raising initiatives (including preparing and delivering presentations on modern slavery). The intern will particularly focus on creating a plan aiming at exploring and creating collaboration strategies with First Nation communities. Responsibilities will include developing culturally appropriate engagement strategies, collaborating closely with services and community leaders, and raising awareness about modern slavery and available support. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and a genuine interest in social justice.
