Role Title: Creative Communications Intern
Organisation: Hospitality Disability Network WA Incorporated
Internship Period: Winter (June - July)
Location: West Perth
This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to contribute to meaningful, real-world projects at the Hospitality Disability Network WA (HDNWA), a not-for-profit organisation focused on inclusive employment in hospitality and tourism.
Working closely with the Marketing and Communications Lead and program team, you’ll help bring projects, resources and ideas to life through engaging and purposeful content.
What you’ll be doing
• Supporting engagement activities with schools and key stakeholders
• Contributing to the development of creative concepts and content
• Assisting with content creation activities, including filming where relevant
• Developing written, visual and digital content for projects and resources
• Supporting the coordination and delivery of project outputs
• Assisting with revisions and finalisation of content for publication
About the role
You’ll be part of a small, passionate team working on initiatives that create real employment pathways for people with disability. This role offers exposure to project delivery, stakeholder engagement and purpose-driven storytelling.
All work is completed under staff guidance, with final approvals remaining with HDNWA staff.

• Studying communications, marketing, media, design or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Creative, proactive and keen to learn
• Interested in social impact and inclusive employment
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
