The intern will conduct a focused literature review examining how women-only inpatient settings influence sexual safety, perceived safety, and wellbeing outcomes for women with complex trauma. The findings will directly inform the service’s trauma-informed Model of Care and its future evaluation framework, providing the intern with valuable experience in applied health research, gender-responsive service design, and policy translation within a major public health system.
