Role Title: Electorate Intern

This internship offers students a hands-on introduction to the day-to-day operations of a Federal Senator’s electorate office. The role provides exposure to parliamentary administration, constituent engagement, and communications/campaign support, giving interns a well-rounded understanding of public office operations and democratic processes.
Interns will work closely with electorate staff across a range of tasks, supporting the office to respond to community needs, manage administrative workflows, and communicate effectively with stakeholders and the public.
Senator Fatima Payman is an Australian independent politician who has served as a senator for Western Australia since 2022.
