Role Description

The Graduate Research School is seeking an intern to support the public-facing communication and engagement activities of its researcher development work. The intern will work with the team to develop clear, engaging content for researchers, supervisors, alumni and external audiences, and undertake background research into how other universities present and promote researcher development initiatives. Activities may include drafting LinkedIn and newsletter content, developing researcher, supervisor or alumni success stories, supporting event promotion and post-event communications, reviewing website content, and creating marketing and communication templates. The role offers practical experience in professional communication and marketing, stakeholder engagement, desktop research and content development within a university environment, while also enabling the intern to produce tangible communications and marketing assets that can be used as evidence for their professional portfolio.
