Role Title: Pilot Program Feedback and Review Intern
Organisation: Neuromuscular WA
Internship Period: Semester 2 (July – October)
Location: Nedlands
The intern will support Neuromuscular WA’s pilot program by implementing a structured client feedback initiative focused on system navigation experiences. This project is designed to collect meaningful insights from clients at different stages of engagement to strengthen service delivery, identify access barriers, and improve client pathways across the organisation.
The primary focus of the role is to complete a structured check-in with clients who have not yet provided feedback required to support pilot program evaluation outcomes. The intern will implement a staged engagement strategy, commencing with an email-based survey and followed by targeted phone outreach to maximise response rates and inclusivity of client perspectives.
The intern will work closely with the Community Services team to ensure all client engagement is undertaken in a professional, ethical, and client-centred manner.
Given the nature of this role, strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, including the ability to confidently initiate conversations, establish rapport quickly, and sensitively engage with both active and lapsed clients.
A key component of the role includes cold calling, particularly for Stream 2 clients who have had no recent contact with the service.
Our mission is to improve the quality of life for people living with neuromuscular conditions in WA and to be the first choice for support and services. We want to be known for supporting everyone impacted by a neuromuscular condition in WA, who needs us. We strive to raise awareness of neuromuscular conditions, their impact on those living with them and their families, and also to educate the general public on access and inclusion.
