Mentoring

The McCusker Centre for Citizenship offers a unique Mentoring Program that connects UWA students who want to grow as active citizens with professionals from the not-for-profit, corporate, and government sectors who have demonstrated experience and leadership in actively contributing to their communities.

This program provides mentees with access to personalised support and advice from their mentor about how they can continue to contribute to the community and be an active citizen.

The McCusker Centre for Citizenship mentoring program ran successfully in the last three years, resulting in very positive feedback with 100% of students agreeing the experience helped them gain the knowledge, tools and skills needed to become a more active citizen and grow as a community engaged leader.

Similarly, 100% of mentors recommended participating in the McCusker Centre for Citizenship Mentoring Program to other community leaders looking to mentor a student in active citizenship.
