Round table discussion - Attitudes towards valuing children in our community

On 15 November, the McCusker Centre for Citizenship partnered with the “Valuing Children Initiative” for a round table discussion with more that 20 CEOs of not for profit and community organisations and Professor Mike Daube on effective strategies to change attitudes towards valuing children in our community.

Professor Mike Daube, who is engaged nationally and globally in successful strategies to change attitudes towards alcohol consumption and smoking, shared his experience and learnings from the public health sector.

Mike is a Professor of Health Policy at Curtin University and Director of the Public Health Advocacy Institute and the McCusker Centre for Action on Alcohol and Youth. Professor Daube has been a leader in tobacco control and public health for four decades.
