Role Description

The Corporate Governance & Improvement (CGI) team is a multidisciplinary team responsible for supporting corporate integrity, business systems, strategic projects and diversity plans to promote continuous improvement and improve employee experience across all MHC areas.
We do this through 3 streams, focused on Corporate Policy & Corporate Integrity, Corporate Reporting, Automation & Improvement and Strategic Projects & Diversity Plans The intern will mainly support the Strategic Projects and Diversity plans stream, focusing on 3 plans: Conciliation Action Plan, Multicultural Action Plan and Disability & Inclusion action plan. There will also be extended support to the whole of CGI as needed. During this internship, the role will support with the consultation phase of building a new Multicultural Action Plan, the preparation for the public launch of the new Conciliation Action plan and the creation and roll out of a divisional newsletter. Through this work, the intern will engage with stakeholders across the commission and with the Commission's Aboriginal Elders in Residence, gain the opportunity to learn and support our project management team, plan events and key activities and co-build a divisional internal newsletter. The Intern will also have opportunities to provide adhoc project and planning support to the team, including attending meetings, drafting briefing notes and preparing other correspondence.
