Role Title: Grants & Fundraising Intern

Internship Period: Summer (November - December)
Location: Malaga
The role is to support the fundraising of a small but rapidly growing social enterprise which upcycles redundant corporate textiles and provides training and employment for people experiencing disadvantage. Working closely with the General Manager and supported by the Marketing Coordinator, the role includes:
* Enhancing the plan for grants and fundraising
* Developing a “grant writing kit” (with key information about the organisation, its operations, its objectives and theories of change)
* Researching statistics (about environmental and social impact) to support grant applications
* Drafting grant applications
* Checking grant applications
* Researching alternative fundraising opportunities (especially online – eg. fundraising platforms, social media campaigns, crowdfunding)
* Implementing chosen alternative fundraising opportunities
* Measuring the effectiveness of the various fundraising activities
