Role Title: Design for Change Scale Up Intern
Organisation: Frederick Irwin Anglican School - Design for Change (DfC) Australia
Internship Period: Semester 2 (July – October)
Location: Meadow Springs
The intern will complete the following tasks:
To learn about Design for Change (DfC) Global and DfC Australia;
Engage with FIAS DfC programme, materials and resources & DfC community;
Explore opportunities to propagate DfC with Anglican School Commission (ASC) and its schools and scale up;
Help create Design for Change campaign, expand engagement, promote school’s experiences;
Connect with Mandurah City, understand opportunities for DfC;
Add to creative resources, media materials (such as video, print, podcast).
Frederick Irwin Anglican School: To provide a high quality, inclusive caring Anglican education which encourages students to fulfil their potential. Using DfC to engage in meaningful projects.
AGENTICA: To propergate DfC AUSTRALIA, systems thinking mindsets, compassion driven design, encourage innovative and hopeful thought, and nurture connection, stewardship & sense of civic duty.
Design for Change (DfC) Australia: To cultivates the ‘I CAN' mindset in every child, to give them an opportunity to express their own ideas for a better world & put them into action using design thinking (Feel - Imagine - Do - Share)
