Role Title: Contracts Administration Intern

The Contracts Administration Intern role will be based within the Finance team at The Y. The intern will primarily focus on a project involving the review of existing leases and service agreements related to facility management. Their main responsibilities will include:
- Creating a new spreadsheet to track facility management obligations across all leased sites.
- Reviewing individual leases to ensure accurate data capture.
- Identifying sites with existing Service Agreements for ongoing facility maintenance and detailing the obligations covered by those agreements.
- Collate contractual obligations, relevant correspondence, related agreements and variations and records of maintenance for individual agreements, and update a spreadsheet capturing the various agreements to prepare for integration into a future Contract Management database.
The intern is encouraged to share or design new practices to improve the contract recording and management process and is welcome to design new spreadsheets better service the administration.
The intern will collaborate closely with the Finance team, interacting with the Facility Manager and Contract Administrator, and external stakeholders responsible for lease management.
