Role Description

Midlas is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Intern to assist in the review and updating of our organisational policies and procedures. This role will focus on Work Health and Safety (WHS), Risk Management, Human Resources (HR), and Information Technology (IT). Additionally, the intern will support a cleanup of our internal data storage to ensure all information is current and accurate.
Key Responsibilities: Policy Review and Update: Assist in evaluating existing policies and procedures related to WHS, Risk, HR, and IT, identifying areas for improvement. Research Best Practices: Conduct research on industry standards, compliance requirements, and best practices to inform policy updates. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various departments to gather input on current policies and practices. Data Cleanup: Review and organize internal data storage, ensuring all files and information are accurate, up-to-date, and properly categorized. Documentation Management: Maintain clear records of policy revisions, version control, and historical documents. Drafting and Editing: Assist in drafting and revising policy documents, ensuring they are clear, concise, and aligned with organizational goals. Training Support: Help develop training materials and resources to communicate new and updated policies to staff. Reporting: Prepare summaries and reports on the progress of policy reviews and data cleanup efforts.
