Role Title: Researcher – Outdoor Safety Campaign & Data Migration (Internship)

As a Research & Data Intern at Outdoors WA, you will contribute to two key projects:
Outdoor Safety Campaign – Supporting the "Personal Safety in the Outdoors: Adventure Smart WA – Ready. Set. Explore." (working title) initiative by researching outdoor incident data, engaging with industry stakeholders, and helping develop safety materials, including infographics, case studies, and campaign content.
CRM Data Migration – Assisting in the transition of National Outdoor Leaders Registration Scheme (NOLRS) data from spreadsheets to a new CRM. This includes data cleaning, structuring, validation, and integration to ensure accuracy and usability.
You will work closely with the Outdoors WA team, emergency services, outdoor industry professionals, and CRM providers, gaining hands-on experience in research, stakeholder engagement, data management, and campaign development. This role is ideal for someone interested in outdoor safety, data analysis, and digital systems, making a direct impact on outdoor recreation in WA.
