Role Title: Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Intern 1

Location: UWA Crawley
This is an exciting opportunity to assist with the development of the marketing and stakeholder strategy for the Centre for Sustainable Development in the Indian Ocean (CSDIO). Your initiative and creativity will be encouraged to assist in creating a communication strategy, website development, social media content and newsletter. Other tasks include:
- Data base cleansing and review
- Literature review and research
- Meeting with stakeholders and helping to foster strong relationships and collaboration with the Centre.
The Centre for Sustainable Development in the Indian Ocean (CSDIO) is addressing the major challenges facing our region, for the future. Through cutting-edge research, policy work, and research translation, CSDIO is leading debates and practice at a regional scale on: responses to human induced-climate change and the energy transition; food and nutritional security; infrastrcuture-led development; public health, and; heritage futures. CSDIO is providing a platform for UWA experts, with their partners in academia, government, industry, and most importantly, community organisations, to work together towards achieving all of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
