Role Description

Getting Jacaranda's website and Facebook to 2025 levels.
Jacaranda is a not for profit and ACCO which was started up by the local community without any funding in March 2000 and currently we receive about $1.6 million in funds for various programs. However, programs do not normally include funds for the webpage or Facebook although Government requires you to have them. We would like to have a chat facility especially for financial counselling, be able to show case what we do and encourage people to utilise the web and face book to access our services. Also link us to other Government and non government agencies we work with. We have very few links at the moment although our Members of Parliament have our links. We really need it updated and you would work with our staff to find out the programs and how to describe them in a proper format and up to date . Work with some Community members/elders/management committee to see how we can have a progressive website. assist with sorting photos we have to put suitable ones on both the web and Facebook and anything you think might be helpful. We are an extremely busy organisation and have many outlets that we attend as well. Working with children's check can be in progress or we will do a volunteer one. The internship will be based in Belmont, but the Intern may wish to go to some outlets in the metro area to gather more information or get a feel for what we do.
