Memory Clinic & Clinical Trials Participant Satisfaction Survey Development Intern

Role Title: Memory Clinic & Clinical Trials Participant Satisfaction Survey Development Intern

Organisation: Alzheimer's Research Australia

Internship Period: Semester 2 (July – October)

Location: Nedlands

Role Description

We are offering a unique opportunity for a McCusker intern to join our team and set up systems and processes to enable us to measure participant satisfaction in our newly developed memory clinic. The intern will be responsible for developing and implementing methods to gather comprehensive feedback from patients/clinical trials and research participants. This includes determining ways to measure our participant retention rate, identifying project withdrawal rate and reasons for withdrawal, and assessing any issues related to travel and parking. Additionally, the intern will assess preferences on receiving questionnaires (paper or email) and confirmation messages (call or text) and will solicit suggestions for service improvement.
The role may also involve direct interaction with participants, data collection and analysis, and the creation of reports that provide actionable insights for enhancing the participant experience. By setting up these systems and processes, the intern will help us better understand and address the needs and concerns of our participants, ultimately contributing to the overall success and effectiveness of our memory clinic. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a clinical research setting, develop skills in data analysis and participant engagement, and make a meaningful impact on the quality of our services
