Role Title: Project Intern: The Sibling Project: webpage upgrade and REDCap survey development
Organisation: The Kids Research Institute Australia
Internship Period: Summer (November - December)
Location: Nedlands
The intern will be working with the Sibling Research Team (Dr Emma Glasson and Dr Kate Dorozenko), within the Child Disability stream of The Kids Research Institute Australia. The Sibling Research Team focuses on children, adolescents and emerging adults who have a sibling with a disability, investigating their mental health, relationships and wellbeing. In their role, the intern will work to update The Sibling Project webpage to accommodate the new branding. They will also re-design the current IDEA database webpage to accommodate new content, adjust for new branding, and make it dynamic and engaging. Once the webpage tasks are complete, the intern will work to set up a research project in REDCap. For this particular project, a more complex survey is required that can display photographs in a table for the participant to review, and respond to.
