Role Description

The Event Planning Intern will support the preparation and execution of the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Ceremony within the Event Management department. Responsibilities include editing event briefs and speaker notes, designing the event program, managing invites and RSVPs, assisting awardees with their speeches, monitoring correspondence, liaising with social media for photos, and coordinating with vendors and performance groups. The intern will interact with internal teams and external awardees, vendors, and performers, gaining hands-on experience in event coordination and project management. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and a passion for event planning.
