Role Title: Digital Content and Communications Intern, Student Equity - Outreach and Participation

Student Equity supports UWA's commitment to widen participation and support students from diverse backgrounds in higher education. Through a layered and long-term approach, the Outreach and Participation team delivers initiatives embedded across multiple stages of the student life cycle. Student Equity delivers long-standing outreach and current student programs Aspire UWA, Children's University, Fairway UWA, Girls+ in Engineering, plus new initiative Broadway Connect.
In this internship, you will support these programs by researching effective impact resources, effective campaign strategies followed by designing and generating the content for use in a range of digital and print communications and platforms to demonstrate the impact and promote the programs. The content to be developed will be centred around the Student Equity Student Ambassador program, through profiling participants and alumni of the Student Equity programs. This is an exciting project which will foster your skills in creating and developing multi-modal media content to support the widening participation purpose of these key programs and foster the aspirations of the diverse students we engage with.
