Project Intern, Mapping Indigenous Engagement

Role Title: Project Intern, Mapping Indigenous Engagement

Organisation: UWA School of Allied Health

Internship Period: Semester 2 (July – October)

Location: Crawley

Role Description

For the past two and a half years the discipline of Social Work and Social Policy has engaged with Aboriginal Elders and community members to develop a curriculum that is culturally safe and responsive. This project aims to 'map' what has happened over this time and capture any outcomes resulting from this engagement. Recording what has happened over this time will offer an understanding of where we've come, where we are currently and offer opportunities for what might be next. The project will include compiling information to illustrate a timeline of key events, activities, and other related processes on which to further develop.
